Book of Business – Week Four

But I never seem to have enough time, and always seem to get behind!

Let’s face it, often times this business is chaos. When it’s happening, it’s happening. Days come and go. By
the time we lift our heads to take a breath three months have gone by. Showings, listings, inspections, and
negotiations all with a timeline, take us off track. So when it comes to maintaining the relationship with our
database and actually making the calls, it’s feast or famine.

We have to make time within our weekly calendars to consistently maintain the relationships within our
Book of Business” otherwise we are forced to continuously create new ones. There is no question that the
amount of time planned in your calendar weekly set aside to maintain the relationships within your
database is significantly better than not doing it for months and then trying to play catch up.

Schedule an hour or an hour and a half weekly on a consistent day and time, to make the calls you need. Be
selfish with your time, don’t negotiate, and the relationships you have within your “Book of Business” will
remain healthy and strong.
